The best University in the state of Oklahoma. You'll never find an Alum of this great university leave a poor review because the staff care and this HBCU changed our life.
All of the Staff was So caring and helpful while I was enrolling my son. The students were so respectful also. I also like the housing! It made it comfortable for me to leave my son.
If you see a negative review, its because that individual is more than likely uneducated themselves and likes to find the negative in everything else in their life.
Every year this school tells students they have a place to stay. Every year students arrive only to find there is no housing. Their rooms have been given away. "Sorry you are from out of state and have no room. Be patient and we will sort this out. Just sleep in your car,on the floor or pay out of your pocket for a hotel room". Incompetence is not acceptable even when you are polite. This year they are remodeling the dorms and as of today they are not ready. They aren't ready the day before school starts. Bring hotel money. Next year go to a different school somewhere else or live off campus.

There's a lot of questionable faculty here. I was unlucky enough to meet a character who drives around in a car with personalized plates DR YT and braggs about his dad getting him hired so he'll never get fired for anything he does. He lures female students with rides on his motorcycle tours of labs then into having inappropriate relations for passing grades even when they don't have his classes and he never passes them and tells the others they'll be kicked out of school if they tell. Dr. Yonathan Tilahun went on bragging he has schizophrenia so he has a get out of jail free card. After that I started asking around campus I found out he had been arrested for domestic abuse in front of his kids and sexual misconduct including an incident in 2016 where he was photographed walking around the e.l Holloway building completely naked. A little research proved he's a POF tinder and casual encounters feign with 2-3 profiles on every social network passing for different personalities. They let this perverted creep be around young females. No way they don't know about his reputation it wasn't hard for us students to find out. Parents beware his office is right next to student housing and he's known to live out his office and always seen bringing his hookups there. This guy is bad news and no female students is off limits to him and he's married. He thinks he's untouchable don't take his classes and never be around him alone and record him. Everyone who had a bad experience with him needs to speak out so something gets done.
Leaders are birthed from this place and the great qualities in you are exposed/grown. I love my HBCU and will forever be a proud alumni. I'm sure all other alums will echo my review.
